The Long Way North

 Day 23

We got to Chik and Wendy's place about 7:30PM. They welcomed us with open arms. I love them already. 

We met up with an other buddy's of Boyd's that he did not know were here Dave. Also Scott who lives in Maine now but lived in our area of Oregon for years. We all know a lot of the same people. This is too cool.

So Chik calls this fish camp and we are all here to fish. 

We hit he sack as we found out we will be up at 1AM and be fishing by 2AM. So nighty night.

Sockeye salmon and Coho are in and the limit is 6 per person per day. I mean, you know I fish a lot in Oregon having a home on the Alsea river with salmon and steelhead. However this is a different game. WOW.

Between the 5 of us we hauled in 30 fish. Let's see how tomorrow morning goes.

Took us about 2 hours to vacuum seal all the fish and get it ready to fly home.
