 Day 13 and Day 14

We are hanging around Fairbanks these two days, We got our front forks to George who will rebuild them. I got his name from the Suzuki dealer here in Fairbanks.
Motorcycle shops here take the forks off and send them to George, Suzuki's shop rate per hour is $150 per hour. So we are definitely saving a bunch of money doing it ourselves. So thankful for Wayde and Jean to let us stay with them and use their shop and live in their home as if it were ours.

Went to the Suzuki shop to pick up new brake pads and oil/filter. Then headed over to the BMW dealer for oil and filter for Boyd's bike.
While there this dealer also is a new Indian motorcycle dealer. I think I found a couple bikes to add to my collection.

Hit the store to get refreshments for dinner. We lost Boyd and had to put out an APB on him. Security found him hiding out in the beer cooler.
Paid his bail with a case of Corona,

Day 14

We were able to pick up my forks this morning from George. He works in the town of North Pole so it's a little commute to take them and pick them up. We had to go by the Suzuki dealer again to swap out my new break pads. This bike has two sets of brakes on the front, a right and a left. The guy at the counter grabbed two right side. No big deal since we had to go close by them anyway.
Wayde has been a blessing and is taxiing us all over this area to do and get what we need. He and Jean have been absolutely amazing.

We got the forks back on new front brakes done and oil and filter changed all done on my bike.
Now hopefully George gets Boyd's forks done for us tomorrow and  we can get everything done on his.

Tonight Jean cooked an Italian pasta dinner with fresh moose meat in the sauce. It was fantastic!!!

How can you not love this.
Let's see what tomorrow brings.
