Day 11
Today we stayed in and around Tok, Alaska. We spent another night at the Thompsons Eagle Claw campground. I spent about 4 hours at the Civic center/Visitors center working on this blog. The campground has no Wi-Fi.
Boyd took in all the visitors center had to show. Then he did research as where we should go fishing when I am done.
We headed out in search of the Tok river and the little Tok river. Had to get off the highway in search of a good spot. Was a fun road to run and needless to say no traffic.
We found us a spot and finally started to wet a hook. Well the fish were not biting. However the Mosquitos were enjoying a great feast on our skin. Some of these guys are a big as a humming bird.
Once the mosquitos blood supply we call it a day. We hit the store and by some grub and beer to cook up at the camp kitchen. It was great end to an easy day.
Let's see what tomorrow brings.
